I saw Angel in concert probably around 1978 and remember being amazed not only by the concert but also by their opening, in which their emblem head appeared to
"come to life" and spoke to the audience. I've been searching for a video of this but can't find it. Does anyone else remember this or know
where I can find a video of it? Thanks for your help!

Thanks! I do know the logo, but what I saw was the giant logo above the stage. When the concert began, the face in the logo opened its eyes, and the logo
began speaking in a booming voice, much like the voice at the beginning of this video, which was made when they weren't dressing all in white:

If you look up when we talked on this site about the logo, Joe Jones I think said that the face was projected on the logo and seemed to be talking? But It
would be cool to see a video of it!.........................STEWY

WickedWillow, Welcome to the Angel board! I'm afraid that no video of the opening magic has yet been found. Some very die hard fans, very well connected to
the band fans, have dropped in on this board and no one knows of ANY surviving video. The videos (from 3 different sources) that I stung together on YouTube
were also all SILENT as was the norm in the mid to late 70's. You would have had to have a 'professional' camera back then to have audio. We HOPE
eventually something will surface but people have been looking for this for years. I WILL go back to the original footage I have that briefly shows the logo
just to see if there is anything there I missed. A lot of it was very dark and jumbled but MAYBE I can slow it down and lighten it up and find something more
there. Anyway, good luck and let us know if YOU find it! PG
