Someone did a study about the happiest states. Here is their finding. I now live in # 50 Connecticut. Bah Humbug!

A new study found that a person's self-reported happiness matches up with objective measures of state-level happiness.

I know, weird topic. Today we made pulled pork because there was a recipe in the paper. Pork roast, one bottle of (Jones) ROOT BEER, and a bottle of BBQ sauce. Cook it to death in the crock pot. I think I shouldn't have used the high end root beer because (and STID would love this) the meat now TASTES like root beer!!! Been asking around and seems like everyone has their own recipe for it including rubbing it with brown sugar, or using a spice rub and apple cider vinegar? Seems like a...

I'm a beer drinker. I know, you woudn't THINK a PROPER groupie would drink beer, but I do . . . used to drink GIRLY drinks but they are too expensive now. Anyway, just read an article about states incresing the legal alcohol-by-volume cap for beers. It's currently an average of 4.65% but Alabama, West Virginia, and North Carolina have all raised their limit to as high as 13.9%. Win averages 11.45%.

Googling, I found a beer called Hair of The Dog Dave with a ABV of 28%....
