Someone posted on the Gildersleeves video I have up on YouTube. Anyone remember the Academy of Music?? I guess it's in NY, as was Gildersleeves . . ??

Just wanted to thank everyone for their support and purchases, particularly those who were able to include a contribution as well. I know these are tough times and really, it means a lot.

Starz Sound - When Stereos were Stereos

I remember my first 'stereo' which was portable and had TWO attached speakers. Then I had a turntable/radio combo with two MOVEABLE speakers. My next stereo after that was components. From a place down on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. Maybe it was someplace like Circuit City? I remember my boyfriend at the time coming with me and picking out the tuner and the dual cassette deck and the turntable. I think they were all silver. It was fun! Starzfest DVDs

Central is releasing some StarzFest DVDS. Not sure what version this will be. There was an official videographer, and then the guy who did the Jaxx DVDs also filmed. Both named John. Will have to consult my notes to get their last names. The official video was deemed not good enough by Richie . . the audio wasn't up to snuff. But, it was a multi camera shoot with a voice over track recorded with Richie, Dube, Bobby Messano, and assorted fans. Not sure what happened to that version after...

Over the next few days, I will be posting pictures of my recent Starz extravaganza road trip from Detroit to Cleveland.
Just when I think it can not get any better that the last one, it does. I hope the pictures go some way to portray just how much fun I had over the 6 day trip.

Doors open at 7:30. Tim and Geoff are thinking of eating at the Hard Rock Cafe (230 West Huron) between 5 and 6 so if you are not in the cell phone loop, see if you can meet up with people there. Geoff is English and will have charmed the waitresses so just ask at the door for the English guy with the Starz shirt. I will post here if they change their minds as to where but that's the initial thought.

This is something I've been thinking about for a LONG time. Finally found the technology and figured out how to make it work and now there are two Starz ringtones available! Just go to StarzStuff.com and scroll down to the bottom of the STUFF page, click on THE VAULT logo and you'll find the ringtones. Brendan recorded two of them and I hope he'll do more. IF you have any suggestions for bits of songs that might make good ringtones, feel free to post your ideas here.

I noticed that the Hilton Garden Inn has a 'Beachland Ballroom" rate so I called to see what it was. She said the BEST rate is available online and that is $89. There is also an "Advanced Purchase" rate of $80. PLEASE NOTE: There is a $16 PER VEHICLE parking charge. So if two people share a room and have two cars, EACH will pay the $16.

I was playing Starz in the car the other week and my 4 year old started singing to So Young. She only knows the chorus so far, but it want be long before she picks up on the rest. Am I happy. You bet I am. Ballroom Blitz now Starz, there is a god.

Alright...it seems a lot of energy aimed at Cleveland both on this board and on the 'other' board.
Is anybody going to make the Detroit show?
I believe we are going to be there...wait, yeah, I have just been notified that I HAVE to be there!

It seems Detroit is a secondary concern, but we want to make this stop a good one for the boys.
The last Detroit show was off the hook...anyone wanna help us make this one insane?
